Sting-R:Team 5098
We are team 5098, Operation: Sting-R. We took light in the fall of 2013 out of a student desire to learn more about science and technology. Our very first meeting consisted of 6 students and 2 teachers with no experience in robotics. By our fifth meeting we had decided on our team name and had started learning machine safety. The very next week, we were actively advertising our team in our school and as a result, we doubled in size and brought five mentors on board.
The Strength that assisted in our success consisted of both teamwork and individual effort. Many more factors come into play in our success, but one the thing that brings our team together is that we offer a comfortable environment. We provide our members with challenges that will test their abilities and encourage them that they have the potential to make anything possible.
